Chemo And Sperm Count Bolg Does Sperm React To Chemotherapy?

Does sperm react to chemotherapy? - chemo and sperm count bolg

I recently underwent major surgery for a tumor in my cancer of the small intestine, and began a year of chemotherapy. It is now 2 months since the surgery and hopes to resume intimate relations with my girlfriend again. I understand that chemotherapy sperm counts are concerned, but wondered if there are other effects as well ... as potentially damaging the transmission of cancer cells, dead or alive during ejaculation, or your partner when you take a drop?

  1. It's OK to restart your intimate relationships, when you feel physically. But it is necessary to take certain precautions. He is not dead / cancer cells in the ejaculate, but the waste of chemotherapy.

Your partner should avoid direct contact with the condom (all) body fluids during chemotherapy - ie, application, and oral sex to avoid when you use a condom, hmmm (which sounds not a penalty) or oral dam (I would also say unpleasant).

You should also avoid conceiving a child during chemotherapy - that there is a high risk for birth defects, because the festival is the chemotherapy that) for every cell in our body (including seeds. Not trust, you avoid a low sperm count pregnancy!

    Good luck with your treatment
